0.01 #The Need to Know India’s Heritage amidst the Distractors (a Post under this Category)
From pre-independence times to the very recent past, the average Indian citizen was a devotee of the country’s political leaders. He innocently and firmly believed that our God would never abandon us, that whatever he did was for the good of the country and its people. He was a silent spectator. He accepted whatever came his way as Panchamrut. The well-educated urbanite who calls himself as Mr. India, was content to sit down and read the Times of India news paper without reading it, as long as his family, house, job, salary, increment, promotion, EMI, and income tax were at a tolerable level, The level of degradation that the Indian government had reached between 2004 and 2014 brought about the miracles of making the blind see, the deaf hear, and the mute speak. Around the same time, digital technology entered India, and by 2010 to 2023 every educated person became a member of a social media. A peaceful revolution took place and in 2014, the country changed forever. Thanks to Sonya. India is now a politically conscious country.
During this period 2010 to 2023, arguments against and for the heritage of Indianness became conscious internally. Left and right sects took to the streets on the internet. Cow theft, murder, theatrical performances of eating, human lives lost as a result, mock rapes took place, photo shoots of political hunters took place in everything. On the one hand, due to blind hatred against Modi, who defeated Sonya and pushed her aside, a barrage of criticism fell on so called issues of Indian nationalism, heritage, culture, Hindutva, myths, social ethics and justice, and the intolerance of Indians. Even though the reactions came, the outcry from the opponents of the tradition increased. This is the broad purpose of this blog.
If India is to move forward in a progressive manner, realistic, professional and credible leadership is needed. Blindness is irrelevant today. The gods of Gandhi and Nehru, who are still worshipped today despite not providing long-term positive benefits and instead leaving negative curses, need to be taken down from the sanctum today. The authoritarian Indira, the corrupt Rajiv, and the foreign-scheming Sonya should not be here now. Whatever happens now, the Rajarishis, Fakirs, honest, devout, hardworking and fruitful leaders like Modi and Yogi are essential. If we let these two rules to continue for a couple or three terms, such leadership would become a habit for India; similar leaders may emerge more. The Congress would be reborn as an alternative democratic party after shedding its family. Therefore, this is a transitional period for India. Fingers crossed.
Sonya did not have the culture and maturity to think positively and act as a constructive opposition party after losing power. She kept creating complete obstacles for Modi’s progressive governance. Her despair over losing power reached such a level that she did not hesitate to take an anti-national stance. The Congress and its Left parties are going to play tricks and a flood of fake news. They are ready to do anything to regain power, even at the expense of the country’s interests. They are hiding the truth for their own benefit and weaving baseless lies. They do not need any special talent to do so. They have almost the entire English media behind them. There are anti-national internal and anti-India multinational forces. They continue to take the stance of taking the people for granted for seven decades from 1947. In response to this, if Modi’s supporters also continue to respond to a word for a word, a sentence for a sentence of those Congress slaves, then there is no difference between them and them. Even the truth requires good evidence. If we want to portray it in a way that convinces people, background study is very important. This blog is just an attempt in this direction. This is not a question limited to one election. The devotion, easy faith, emotional pride, indifference and passivity that have been going on till now are enough. It is essential to understand the identity of our nation to know and decide which party, which leader, which administration is beneficial for us and our country. Knowledge and understanding of the past, present and future are important. It is useless to remain an immature like Ragul Handhi, who pretends not to know the reality that his previous generations have plundered the country. Without knowing anything and having no experience whatsoever, blames innocent opponents for the same accusations what were infact past realities committed by Congress.
It is important to truly understand and defend Bharat Varsha, not just work out of admiration for Modi. Because our patriotism and service must go beyond elections. We do not need to be tied to any party. Therefore, we do not need to vote for a good candidate or NOTA outside the party and create confusion in the people’s representative assemblies. It is enough for us to have a healthy democracy in the country. Our country needs all political parties, as long as they bring about a change that is honest for our country and our people.
We, the honorable workers of India, should study the eternal truths, philosophy, life vision, and literature that are still relevant in Indian heritage, culture, Hinduism, history, and mythology in a thorough manner. We should accept and respect the good. We do not want untruths and distorted histories that have been lectured upon againand again and written.
For centuries, the Mughals and the British have looted all kinds of wealth from our ancient India. They have demolished temples, gurukuls, and universities. They have destroyed agriculture and education systems. Those who were our own and those outsiders who ruled for a long time have ruined the future of the country by seizing power around the freedom struggle. They have written a false history about it. They have handed over parts of our country to enemy countries. They have deliberately written an unofficial constitution with their own hands and left some internal areas in limbo. They have divided society on the basis of religion, caste, language and region. Recently, in the hunt for votes, they are ready to compromise with the internal security and sovereignty of our country. The communists, who had the same goal of breaking India from the beginning, have infiltrated our universities, media and finally even the courts and have become enemies of India. They have established armies of Naxalites and Maoists in the forests and in the country. Writers and artists who claim to be progressive and liberal, proclaim themselves intellectuals and take royal patronage, develop an allergy to all forms of heritage and follow this stance as the new fashion. These are the grandchildren of those trained by Lord Macaulay. They say jai to the madness of the above power-hungry political parties. Similarly, there are those who disguise themselves as social workers and put up boards called NGOs and spy on behalf of multinationals. To fight against such heritages and anti-national forces, we need to practice good weapons. Truth, reality and documents are our weapons. We need to fill our quivers with genuine knowledge about our heritage.
We get a little knowledge of our nation’s heritage from the books available on those subjects. Those who do not read are a majority. Those who read are a minority. Those who read get books only from such written official history. Or when we attend functions of some national organizations, if there are books displayed there, we pick up one. It cannot be said that it gives us complete and detailed information. If someone reads it and reviews it beforehand and says that it is a book that gives a real picture, this doubt will be removed. I have decided to write this blog with the aim of filling that gap.
I have thought of briefly sharing on this platform, with the help of available research media, who among our historians wrote from a Western perspective, some created true history from the perspective of their own heritage and who deliberately created false history. I have compiled positive and negative authors and their works. I read the selected titles or books one by one, write an article about it briefly, but as much as possible, to cover the entire topic, and share it on this platform. At the end of each article, there will be a reference to the title of the original book followed / studied, the names of the author and the publisher. If readers of these articles are particularly interested in any title or book, they can purchase that book themselves and study it in detail.
I have prelisted possible articles and selected reference material for each of those articles. What I have selected are mainly impartial realist books and some books by famous national authors. And I also refer real, indigenous perspective, factual history including Google / Wikipedia writings.
A point to be clarified here. India is a huge Banyan tree planted by Brahma. Its roots and branches are wide, thick and tall. In front of it, a grasshopper like me is unequal. Indian tradition, culture, religion, philosophy and history are a vast ocean. We have grown up drinking drop by drop. In front of that grandeur, I am like a LKG student who has only learnt to read and write. My studies are not up to the level of Gurukuls. I have read an original book and briefly digested it. It would have been hot and raw. It would have been too salty and too sour. Scholars should read and correct. Like minded Friends of common understanding should question, discuss and clarify the matter. Only then will this effort be worthwhile. I seek the blessings of those elders, the cooperation of the readers. And through this, I am a candidate for the fulfillment of my life.
Jai Hind.
